My friend Hiroko of Sakaya just told me about a company called Explore Japanese Ceramics, which organizes pottery tours in Japan. I love, love, love Japanese ceramics -- it's what first inspired me to visit Japan. It looks like these folks can help you visit potters across the country, very cool.
